He is creative and can handle everything a homeowner would want in their remodeled dream house. We removed a staircase, added an upstairs bathroom in its place and a wet bar below. Mark Matthews built our 5600sf oceanfront home in 2010.  It was a seamless process, from start to finish, involving a complete demolition of two existing dwellings on the site and construction of a brand-new home with high end finishes.  We gave Mark a very tight deadline and told him that we wanted to be in the house to cook Thanksgiving dinner in 2010.  Mark’s attention to detail and sense of urgency ensured that happened!  We have a home we love, and Mark was a pleasure to deal with.

We recently finished a large renovation with MG Matthews Construction and were so pleased with our new home! It far exceeded our expectations and we were equally pleased with the process. We have been through several other home renovations, all of which were extremely stressful, but Mark is very adept at taking the stress out of the job for his clients.

We were out of town during much of the construction, but Mark kept in constant communication with us and troubleshot many problems in our absence. He worked collaboratively with both our architect and interior designer and delivered a high-end result on time and on budget! What more can we say? He is the best!
